Four Step Guide
1) Bedding cement should be struck off at 90 degrees and free of large holes and voids, ensuring no bedding cement residue is left on the edge of the ridge cap. FlexiPoint should be applied at least 12 hours after bedding is laid.
2) Use FlexiPoint straight from the container, there's nothing to add, just stir before using to freshen up the compound. Using a steel pointing trowel, apply the FlexiPoint to the bedding valleys and verges (where required).
3) FlexiPoint should be trowelled on at a uniform thickness of 3mm to 5mm using the FlexiPoint primer supplied.
4) Smooth off the FlexiPoint to beautiful steeled finish for a professional appearance. Always remember to smooth off as you go. A plastic spray bottle with water in it can also be used to achieve a smooth finish especially in the summer months . ONLY APPLY A FINE MIST SPRAY ONE OR TWO SQUIRTS on the freshly pointed FlexiPoint then trowel over to achieve a smooth finish then move on to the next section.
